NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- At least 11 people were shot, one of them fatally, in a 12-hour span from Monday to early Tuesday—one of the worst stretches of gun violence in New York City so far this summer.
There were seven victims in Brooklyn, three victims in the Bronx and one victim in Manhattan between 4 p.m. Monday and 4 a.m. Tuesday.
The fatal shooting was in the Tremont section of the Bronx, where a 39-year-old man was shot multiple times in the head shortly before 8 p.m. at East 176th Street and Mohegan Avenue.
EMS responded and pronounced him dead at the scene. He was identified as Roman Martinez, of the Bronx. No arrests have been reported in his killing.

Photo credit Citizen App Two women were also wounded in a drive-by in the Bronx around 7:30 p.m. The two victims, ages 29 and 28, were shot at East 165th Street and Third Avenue in Morrisania. Two suspects were taken into custody, police said.
Meanwhile in Brooklyn, a 21-year-old man who was shot in the hand on Crooke Avenue in Flatbush, just south of Prospect Park, shortly before 1 a.m. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition. No arrests were reported.

Photo credit Citizen App Two men, ages 64 and 35, were also shot at Osborn Street and Sutter Avenue in Brownsville around 1:15 a.m. They were taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in stable condition. The shooter got away.
Less than a half-hour later, around 1:40 a.m., a 43-year-old woman was shot twice in the right leg at Lincoln Place and Rochester Avenue in Crown Heights. She was recovering at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The shooter ran off.

Photo credit Citizen App Earlier in the day Monday, two men and a 16-year-old boy were wounded in a triple shooting at Rutland Road and Nostrand Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens. The teen was critically injured, while the men, ages 26 and 16, were in stable condition. There was no word of any arrests.
The gun violence also hit Manhattan, where a 24-year-old man was shot in the neck around 3:15 a.m. on East 96th Street in East Harlem. He walked into NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan but was unable to talk to investigators due to his injury.
