Matt Damon and wife Luciana make rare red carpet appearance for world premiere of 'The Instigators'

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso made a rare red carpet apperance together as they stepped out for the world premiere of his latest thriller-comedy The Instigators.

While the happily married couple, who have been married for over two decades and tend to keep a low profile, made an exception this week as they stepped out for Damon's latest movie premiere in New York City . For the event held at the Jazz at Lincoln Center, the father of four looked stylish and hip as he stepped out in a tan colored khaki suit, a crisp white t-shirt, and bright white sneakers.

During the premiere for the Apple TV+ movie, Luciana looked breathtaking as she stepped out a tight, long flattering white dress and a pair of black open-toed heels. The brunette beauty wore her hair in a classy half-up hair-do drawing attention to her beautiful full-glam makeup look featuring a bright red lipstick.

While Luciana tends to stay away from the limelight, she was seen supporting her hubby on his latest project has he recently took on the role of Rory in The Instigators. And according to Damon's co-star and former roommate Casey Affleck, Damon would've never taken on the role if it wasn't for his encouraging wife.

During a recent interview, Affleck admitted that he went directly to Damon's wife and asked her if she would get Damon to read the script. In an interview with ExtraTV , Affleck said: "I went through Lucy. Who’s way more agreeable and has got better taste than Matt does." To which Damon agreed: "It’s true, it’s true."

Affleck explained that he originally sent the script to Damon but after weeks of radio silence he decided to reach out to his wife for some extra help. Affleck explained: "I hit Lucy up and she was like, 'I read it. It's great. I think Matt should do it. I said, 'How do we get it done?' She was like, 'I'll work on him,' and that was it."
