But one Funyuns fan couldn’t help but freak after finding that a bag of her favorite savory snack contained one lone, onion-flavored circular chip.
Tatiana, also known as @tatianaaaatt on TikTok , immediately put junk food giant Frito-Lay on blast using the popular social media site — snagging 1.2 million views and a lot of sympathetic comments.
“So, someone from Frito-Lay, you need to be fired,” the needled nosher says in the viral video, posted just last week. “I bought this yesterday from Walmart.”
“We need an investigation now,” demanded one TikToker.
“I want a free bag too. Cause I kept the silence when it happened to me,” another chimed in.
News of the lonesome chip made its way to Frito-Lay headquarters, who revealed they plan to make it right with Tatiana.
“We’re working to get in touch with Tatiana to make this right,” a Frito-Lay representative told TODAY.com. “No one is ever happy with just one Funyun — our teams will get to the bottom of how this happened so consumers receive the quality and value they expect every time, with every bag.”
Tatiana isn’t the only one claiming to be deceived by the snack brand.
Earlier this year, a man uploaded a clip on Reddit revealing that his bag of Doritos contained a chip and a crumb inside.
“There you go ladies and gentlemen, an ounce of chips, he said. “Bags of chips can’t get any smaller.”
