    10-year-old boy hospitalized after teen slashes him with butter knife in NYC

    A 10-year-old boy was hospitalized Tuesday night after a teenager repeatedly slashed him with a butter knife on a Manhattan street, according to police and sources.

    The young victim and a 15-year-old boy got into a fight at the corner of West 33rd Street and Sixth Avenue at around 6:40 p.m., cops and law enforcement sources said.

    The teen allegedly brandished a butter knife and slashed the 10-year-old throughout the body, the sources said.

    The boy suffered knife wounds to the stomach and was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he’s listed in stable condition, police said.

    A person of interest was taken into custody, according to the NYPD.
