These subway surfers caught a rainy wave.

A pair of boneheaded subway surfers rode atop a 7 train in Queens amid a heavy weekend rainstorm, according to a viral video.

The video taken Saturday — days before the lashing Tuesday rains that caused flash flooding across the Big Apple — shows two dimwitted daredevils standing on the city-bound train as it apparently rolls past the Lowery Street-40th Street station in Sunnyside.

“Nahhhh NYC kids are a different breed smh,” the original post is tagged.

The sodden stunt didn’t impress many online viewers aware of subway surfing’s inherent danger.

Subway surfing has become an unfortunate — and sometimes deadly — trend among many city youth, who are inspired to risk life and limb by viral videos on Instagram and TikTok.

A 14-year-old boy on the 7 line — the same train ridden by the rainstorm bozos — was injured in June when his head struck a beam , though he miraculously escaped death, police said.

Another 14-year-old wasn’t so lucky in January, when police said he fell from an F train in Brooklyn and was hit by an oncoming train .

Five New Yorkers have died so far this year in subway surfing incidents, as many as were killed during the entirety of 2023, NYPD officials said.

The city has seen 137 subway surfing incidents in 2024, outpacing the 133 for all of last year, according to NYPD data.
