“Ben’s doing well,” a source told People , adding that the Oscar winner has been working a lot this summer. “He thrives when he’s busy and he’s been working nonstop.”

His children have also provided a boon to the actor during this difficult period. “The kids are still off from school,” the source said. “He spends a lot of time with them, too.” Affleck shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner — Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

“It hasn’t been the easiest summer for him either,” the source told the outlet. “He’s just trying to stay focused and make every day as good as possible.”

Affleck has been staying at the rental since at least May when it was first reported that he and Lopez were living separately despite having purchased a $60.8 million Beverly Hills mansion together in 2023. They listed the house for sale in July, asking $68 million.

Lopez is currently on the West Coast and looking for an LA home of her own so she can “start fresh,” as she and Affleck continue “moving on separately,” according to People .
Affleck and Lopez started dating in 2002 and got engaged later that year. They split up in 2004 but rekindled their romance in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022.
