    Trent Grisham exits game after getting hit by pitch in latest Yankees concern

    Add one more injury concern to a Yankees team that has plenty.

    Trent Grisham was pulled from the Yankees’ first game of a doubleheader against the Rangers on Saturday in The Bronx after getting drilled in the left hand with a fastball.

    It was later revealed Grisham had a left hand contusion.

    An initial CT scan and X-rays were negative.

    In the bottom of the fourth inning, the center fielder absorbed a 96.3-mph heater from lefty Brock Burke and threw his bat to the ground in obvious pain.

    A trainer and manager Aaron Boone checked on Grisham, who remained in the game for the moment and came around to score.

    But the fifth inning began with Oswaldo Cabrera, who had been on the bench, inserted to play third base and third baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. shifted out to center field.

    There was no immediate update on Grisham, a fourth outfielder who was playing center on an afternoon that Aaron Judge served as designated hitter.
