    Cue the chills.

You could own a piece of Hollywood history: The infamous house from the 1982 horror classic “Poltergeist” has hit the market for the first time in 45 years — minus the paranormal activity, of course.

Nestled in Simi Valley, California, this suburban spookfest, built in 1979, is up for grabs at $1.175 million.

And 4267 Roxbury Street isn’t just any four-bedroom, three-bathroom home. It’s the house where cinematic history was made — and left moviegoers sleeping with the lights on.

The film follows the Freeling family as they encounter terrifying paranormal activity in their suburban home and centers around the youngest child Carol Anne who is abducted by malevolent spirits through a portal in her closet.

Directed by Tobe Hooper and produced by Steven Spielberg, the film is renowned for its blend of suspense and groundbreaking special effects. It became a cultural phenomenon, spawning two sequels, a remake and a lasting legacy in horror cinema.

Now, the home is ready for new owners who can appreciate its Hollywood pedigree without fearing a trip to the other side.

Step inside, and you’re greeted by a light-filled living room, thanks to massive windows that make it hard to imagine anything sinister lurking around.

The house is described as “clean,” with a touch of humor thrown in by the current owners.

“Yes, this is the home where much of the first movie of the series was filmed; but ‘This house is clean.’ Seriously, it is!” the listing playfully notes.

The backyard, which occupies 16,000 square feet, features a large, in-ground pool and a jacuzzi.

As the Zillow listing cheekily notes , it’s “ideal for cooling off on hot California days or hosting epic pool parties. Plus, it’s much safer than building a portal to another dimension!”

And with so much space, there’s even room to add a pool house or an ADU for extra income, the listing adds.

Upstairs, you’ll find four bedrooms, including a primary suite with vaulted ceilings, an en suite bathroom and a walk-in closet.

And don’t worry, there’s nothing supernatural about the closet.

Lauren Murdock of Equity Union holds the listing.
