Observations from Giants training camp on Thursday.

    Like a good Nabers

Seeing Malik Nabers running around the field for the first time since suffering a sprained ankle meant that the dynamic rookie wide receiver is a quick healer, a good sign for him and the Giants.

    Little bit slower now

Giants’ Daniel Jones finally set for first real game action since torn ACL

The cards were out, meaning this was a slowed-down version of practice, with preparations for Saturday’s game at Houston in place.

Malik Nabers could suit up vs. Texans in Giants preseason stunner

Players on a scout team wore red jerseys simulating Stefon Diggs, Tank Dell and Nico Collins.

    Caught my eye

During a team period late in practice, the voice of Alicia Keys blared “Empire State of Mind’’ louder than usual.

The starting offense was on the field, and this was preparation for crowd noise this weekend on the road against the Texans.
