    The doctor is in.

Bill Lawrence, the TV veteran, creator and producer of countless hit shows, including “Ted Lasso,” “Scrubs,” and “Shrinking,” had some insights about Harrison Ford.

While promoting his new show “Bad Monkey,” now streaming on Apple TV+, Lawrence reflected on Ford, 82, and his behavior on the set of “Shrinking.”

“Harrison is a gamer,” Lawrence told The Post.

“And what I mean by that is he gets the joke. He is as funny and quick and sharp as anybody.”

Co-created by Segel and “Ted Lasso” star Brett Goldstein, “Shrinking” follows Jimmy (Segel), a grieving therapist who decides to become more involved in his patients’ lives. Ford co-stars as his colleague, Dr. Paul Rhoades.

Season 1 got two Emmy nominations. Season 2 premieres Oct. 16 on Apple TV+.

“Jason Segel wears a really comfortable jumpsuit that I think look somewhat ridiculous to set,” said Lawrence. “Because it makes it easier to change into wardrobe.”

As an example as the “games” that Ford plays, Lawrence recalled, “The next day, Harrison will also have a jumpsuit on. And then, at the end of the year, the cast and crew gifts from those guys will be jumpsuits. So that’s the type of guy Harrison is every day at work. He’s a pleasure to work with.”

During an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” Goldstein said that he and Lawrence originally thought it was a long shot that Ford would ever agree to do the show.

They decided to “offer it to Harrison Ford and then laugh about the fact [they] offered it to Harrison Ford,” he told Colbert.

But, as it turned out, the “Indiana Jones” star liked the script and called Goldstein; however, the “Ted Lasso” star ignored the call because he didn’t recognize the number. Goldstein then met Ford in person.

“I turn up at the apartment, ring the doorbell. Han Solo answers the door, and I’m like, ‘Hello mate!’” Goldstein told Colbert.

“And I go in the house, and he goes, ‘Best script I’ve ever read.’ And I go, ‘Shrinking?’ Because I’ve seen ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark,’ that’s a very good script. What are you talking about? And then I see on his table, he’s got loads of scripts, and I go, ‘Oh, he thinks I’m someone else. He’s thinking of the wrong thing.'”

Goldstein continued, “And I see the ‘Shrinking’ script and I point at it and I go, ‘Shrinking?’ And he goes, ‘Best dialogue I ever read.’ And I go, ‘Oh, okay. Do you wanna be in it?’ And he goes, ‘Yeah!’ And I go, ‘Okay then.’ And then he goes, ‘Is that business done?’ And I go, ‘Looks like it.’ And he goes, ‘Let’s eat!'”

Lawrence also revealed that it’s possible “Ted Lasso” could have a future . That hit show about an American college coach (Jason Sudeikis) who ended up coaching an English soccer team ended in May 2023 after three seasons.

“You can ask anybody that wrote on the show, or acted on the show, or produced the show, and we will all say the same thing, which is, that’s up to Jason Sudeikis,” Lawrence told The Post.

“Because, by the way, he’s not just Ted Lasso himself and the writer co-creator — but he’s the one that would have to uproot his entire life and family, you know?” Lawrence, who is also known for “Cougar Town” and “Spin City,” said about Sudeikis.

So, “as a fan, of course, I’d love to see it again,” Lawrence shared.

“But whatever [Sudeikis] ends up doing, I’m totally down with. And I get it.”
