This is one performance Angel Reese would like to forget.

She struggled through one of the worst outings of her rookie season during the Sky’s 77-75 loss to the two-time defending champion Aces Sunday afternoon at Wintrust Arena in Chicago.

Reese, whom the Sky selected with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft after starring at LSU, shot a brutal 4 of 16 from the field and finished with 11 points and three turnovers.

She did add 22 rebounds, however, 10 of which came on the offensive end.

More than a few of those offensive rebounds came off her own misses, though.

At one point in the fourth quarter, Reese grabbed three straight offensive rebounds off her own misses before she was fouled.

Still, Reese became the first WNBA player to ever record three consecutive games with 20-or-more rebounds.

After recording 20 in each of her previous two games, Reese has now tallied 62 rebounds in her last three games.

She took to social media about her rough showing after the game.

“If it was easy, everybody would be doing it,” Reese wrote on X . “We Good!”

The Sky erased a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter, and Chennedy Carter’s 3-pointer with one second left tied the game at 75-75.

But A’ja Wilson then caught a beautiful inbounds pass from Chelsea Gray and hit a layup as time expired to win the game for the Aces.

Carter led all scorers with 25 points, while Wilson paced the Aces with 20 points.

The Sky’s (11-18) lead over the Dream for the final playoff spot shrunk to a half-game with the loss.

Reese’s shooting woes have come to the forefront recently.

In her last eight games, including Sunday’s loss, she shot 35-for-111 — good for a paltry 31.5 shooting percentage from the field.
