Two jurors at the center of Alex Murdaugh’s murder trial have expressed doubts about his guilty verdict as they broke their silence on jury tampering allegations that embroiled the high-profile case .

Myra Crosby and Mandy Pearce — previously only known as “Egg Juror” and “Juror Z” — unmasked themselves in a lengthy Fox Nation interview Tuesday just weeks after the South Carolina Supreme Court agreed to hear Murdaugh’s appeal against his conviction for gunning down his wife and 22-year-old son.

Crosby claimed she was only dismissed from the trial just before deliberations because she wasn’t firm on Murdaugh’s guilt.

“I feel like I was targeted,” Crosby said of then-Colleton County Clerk of Court Becky Hill, who resigned after being accused of trying to influence the jury’s decision.

Alex Murdaugh will remain in prison even if murder conviction overturned: ‘He’ll die behind bars’

“Ms. Hill asked me on several occasions what my opinion was — and my constant answer was ‘undecided.'”

Crosby was eventually removed after the judge received a complaint that she’d been caught discussing the case outside the courtroom with her tenants and ex-husband — claims she has strenuously denied.

Asked if she thought removing her was a mistake, Crosby responded, “In all honesty, I do.”

Pearce, meanwhile, alleged she was ultimately swayed by the court clerk to convict Murdaugh.

She claimed the clerk repeatedly talked and interacted with the jurors in the jury room during the trial — a fact she didn’t realize was considered improper at the time.

“What Becky [Hill] did wasn’t right,” Pearce said of the conversations the clerk had with them.

“She made it seem like he was already guilty.”

Pearce, who admitted she still wasn’t sure of Murdaugh’s guilt, said her doubts initially stemmed from the lack of a murder weapon.

Murdaugh, who was mired in financial woes and allegations of stealing millions of dollars from his law firm, ended up being found guilty of fatally shooting his wife, Maggie Murdaugh, and their 22-year-old son Paul at their home on June 7, 2021.

His lawyers had argued that Hill, the clerk, had told jurors at the trial not to trust Murdaugh when he testified, had private discussions with the jury foreperson and pressured jurors to come to a quick verdict.

Crosby, meanwhile, also addressed her nickname as “Egg Juror,” which she got from a bizarre request t o collect a carton of eggs from the courthouse before she was escorted out following her dismissal.

“They were just farm fresh eggs in a carton … at the time, you have to remember, we were just coming to where groceries were ungodly — a dozen eggs were $8,” the juror said in the interview.

“I wanted my farm fresh eggs. I’m sorry, I’m a country girl. I like eggs.”

And they are just now saying something?? I watched the trial and my feeling is he is guilty but even if they drop the murder charges he still has to spend 55+ years for his Federal financial crimes.
