Following an impressive 10-7 showing in 2023, the Pittsburgh Steelers bulked up over the offseason and signed newly announced starting quarterback Russell Wilson as well as backup Justin Fields.

“I’m super excited,” the Super Bowl-winning Wilson said Wednesday at a small press conference . “I came here to help us win, that’s the focus. The best part is how hard we’ve all worked every day all the way from OTAs to Latrobe.”

Although, Mike Tomlin’s squad had a rough preseason — the Men of Steel went 0-3 against the formidable Texans, Bills and Lions — Wilson is slated to start for the first time in Week One and 2024 Pro Bowlers T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Miles Killebrew return as does star wide receiver George Pickens.
