Carson Beck confirms Hanna Cavinder relationship before Georgia football opener

Carson Beck and Hanna Cavinder sparked dating rumors when she posted him on social media over the Fourth of July weekend.

In a recent interview, the Georgia quarterback confirmed the two are a couple while discussing how his life has changed since the Bulldogs’ national championship wins in 2021 and 2022, when then-QB Stetson Bennett was under center.

“A lot has changed since 2021. You know, I’ve been through a lot, personally and through football,” Beck told ESPN ahead of Saturday’s opener against No. 14 Clemson at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. “Sitting and waiting and not playing, and then getting last season to be able to start.

“Looking back today and being where I’m at now, I’m very appreciative and very thankful of the position that I’m in.”

In his first season as a starter in 2023, Beck led the Bulldogs to their third straight undefeated regular season.

The 22-year-old Beck is entering his senior year as a leading Heisman Trophy contender and a potential No. 1 pick in the 2025 draft.

“I came back to win a national championship,” he added. “That’s my goal.”

Beck and Cavinder stirred buzz online when she shared a video of them while out with her twin sister, Haley Cavinder, and her boyfriend, Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, last month.

At the time, a photo of Beck and Cavinder holding hands slipped under the radar when he included it in a post on Instagram last month.

Beck — who reportedly earns more than $1 million in name, image and likeness deals — said he currently drives a Lamborghini these days.

He’s one of the top NIL earners among college athletes, including Cavinder, who is a fifth-year guard for the Miami Hurricanes and has a reported NIL valuation of $852,000.

Haley, who transferred from TCU to Miami for her fifth year of eligibility, has an NIL valuation of $895,000.

Hanna also has posted Beck on her social media, but the pair never directly addressed the dating buzz.

Hanna previously opened up about her split from her ex-boyfriend, whom she did not name, during a September 2023 installment of her “Twin Talk” podcast with Haley.

“Hanna is newly single,” Haley said at the time.

Hanna and Haley announced their return to Miami for their fifth and final season of collegiate eligibility in April.

After a Cinderella run with the Hurricanes in March Madness two years ago, Hanna said she was done playing basketball and wanted to focus on her career.

Haley briefly transferred to TCU to continue playing but decided to return to Miami with her sister.

The twins helped the University of Miami’s women’s basketball team reach the Elite Eight for the first time in program history in 2022-23.

That was their first season with Miami after spending three years at Fresno State.
