The Baltimore Ravens are looking to finish the job this year.

After notching the NFL’s best regular season record in 2023, they were upset by the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.

To make sure John Harbaugh’s squad doesn’t have a repeat of last year’s heartbreak, quarterback — and 2023 NFL MVP — Lamar Jackson is coming back with renewed focus.

“He just really wants to win badly, and I think I’m seeing that as a player,” Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta told ESPN . “I’ve always known that, but now I’m seeing his personality kind of come out more where I can really get a sense that this guy is so hyper-focused on this season and really working to get a ring.”

“On the field, they’re seeing another side of me,” the 27-year-old Jackson said on the Ravens podcast, “The Lounge.” “I’m hungry. So everybody has to be hungry.”

Ironically, the hungry Jackson has also dropped 15 pounds over the offseason.

And, while he’s lost weight, the Ravens gained star free agent running back Derrick Henry as well as draftee cornerback Nate Wiggins. They join 2024 Pro Bowlers Tyler Linderbaum, Justin Madubuike, Roquan Smith, Kyle Hamilton, and Justin Tucker.

All that’s left for the Purple Murder to do is capitalize on their hunger and win.

They’ll need to do so when they take on formidable foes like the Bills (Sept. 29), Bengals (Nov. 7) and Eagles (Dec. 1) at their home M&T Bank Stadium.

And if you want to join them, tickets are available for all eight home games in Baltimore.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on any one ticket was $75 including fees on Vivid Seats.
