Scottie Scheffler’s dominance over golf hasn’t been felt since prime Tiger Woods.

He’s beginning to earn like Woods too.

Scheffler won the season-ending Tour Championship on Sunday , which secured him the FedEx Cup title.

It marked the seventh tournament Scheffler won on the PGA Tour in 2024 — the most since Woods won seven in 2007.

Scottie Scheffler caps monster year with Tour Championship win to claim $25 million FedEx Cup

Scheffler made roughly $29.2 million in earnings across the season, according to ESPN , about 9.2 percent of the $317.4 million total purse from tournaments he played in.

In 2007, Woods earned roughly $10.9 million — about 9.7 percent of the $112.5 million available in prize money.

Scheffler, 28, also pocketed a pair of massive bonuses — $25 million for winning the FedEx Cup and $8 million as the leader in the Comcast Business Tour Top 10, bringing him to $62.2 million in total earnings this year — not including endorsements or other income.

And that number will soon grow as the PGA pays out its Player Impact Program bonuses.

“If you can describe it in words, more power to you,” Scheffler said Sunday of his year. “Because I don’t think I can. All I’m trying to do is hit a good shot. This year, I’ve been able to do that a lot.”

    Scheffler’s contemporaries aren’t even close.

Including both prize money and bonuses, Xander Schauffele has earned the second-most at $29.3 million, according to Sportico .

Collin Morikawa is third at $25.3 million, while Rory McIlroy is fourth at $19.2 million.

Scheffler’s historic season also brought off-the-course headlines.

Scheffler became a father in May , welcoming a baby boy just before the PGA Championship.

Soon after, ahead of the second round of the PGA Championship, Scheffler was arrested while trying to drive into Valhalla Golf Club, though charges were later dropped.
