Andy Cohen parts ways with the NYC dream home that he spent 21 years piecing together

Andy Cohen, the king of Bravo TV, is parting ways with his swanky Manhattan pad after spending 21 years turning four separate apartments into a custom 3,500-square-foot showstopper.
Now, he’s putting the fabulous West Village assemblage on the market for a cool $14 million — and his buddy, celebrity broker Ryan Serhant, is handling the listing, he revealed to the New York Times.
Cohen’s home is the stuff of dreams: a two-story space bursting with natural light, with three bedrooms, an office and even a nanny suite. (Cohen is the father of two young children: Ben, 5, and Lucy, 2.)
The interior is a riot of color, from a Paul Smith striped sofa to a denim loveseat. And it comes with plenty of other perks, like woodburning fireplaces, a steam room and tons of closet space.
Serhant, who met Cohen more than a decade ago when he debuted on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York,” was blown away the first time he saw the place.
“Whenever you are willing to part with this, even if I have to pull it from your grip, please let me know. Because it’s a one of one,” he told the Times.
Now, that moment has arrived. “It’s one of those treasures that you wait your whole career for to find something like this that you get to bring to market and sell,” Serhant said.
And even several years later, Serhant still finds that true.
“It’s completely one of a kind — everything was masterfully curated, and the closet and storage space alone is absolutely unreal and impossible to find in New York City,” Serhant told The Post. “There’s light pouring in from all over. My favorite part of the home is the 25 windows with unobstructed views. It doesn’t get much better than that.”
The apartment has even been a party pad for A-list guests like Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, John Mayer and Kelly Ripa.
But when the pandemic hit in 2020, the social gatherings paused, and Cohen and Serhant bonded over something else: their older kids, who were born just weeks apart. (Serhant has a daughter named Zena.)
“Our relationship changed a few years ago when we both became dads,” Cohen told The Times.
During one of their lockdown playdates, Cohen casually asked Serhant what he would list the home for. It was the question Serhant had been waiting for his whole career.
Cohen’s decision to sell wasn’t easy, but he found a new dream — a penthouse just 4 minutes away with 3,000 square feet of indoor space and a 2,000-square-foot terrace.
“It was a once in a lifetime opportunity,” Cohen said of his new home. “I had to take it.”
While Cohen’s former home is hitting the market, there’s speculation it might also star in an episode of Serhant’s Netflix show, “Owning Manhattan,” which was recently renewed for a second season.
When asked, Serhant played coy, saying, “Bravo and Netflix might have an issue with that … but it would be like Deadpool and Wolverine, real estate style. That’s basically the two of us.”
