Jon Bon Jovi helped stop a woman from jumping off a Nashville bridge on Wednesday, likely saving her life.

The legendary rocker encountered the woman around 6 p.m. local time as he was filming a music video for his song “People’s House” on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

In surveillance video shared on X by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer can be seen approaching the woman as she appears about to jump.

Shortly after, Bon Jovi and the fellow good samaritan helped pull the woman over the railing and away from danger.

After the woman was back on the pedestrian path, she and Bon Jovi hugged.

The bridge was completely open to the public when Bon Jovi was filming the video, and the incident subsequently occurred.

The Post understands that Bon Jovi won’t be making any public comments out of respect for the person and their privacy.

A source told The Post that Bon Jovi did what any person who found themselves in that situation would have done, offering a helping hand to the person in need.

Though in some ways the singer may have been uniquely poised to help the distressed individual. Bon Jovi created the JBJ Soul Foundation in 2006 to help provide pragmatic ways out of homelessness, poverty and hunger for families across the US.

As the organization’s founder, he has been thoroughly trained in speaking to people who find themselves in crisis situations. He’s also put that training to use in the real world, having worked with people in crisis, dealing battles such as hunger and homelessness.

The Nashville Fire Department and Metropolitan Nashville Police Department arrived on the scene shortly after Bon Jovi’s heroic action.

Eerily, the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge was named for a reporter who stopped a man from jumping off the bridge and committing suicide in the 1950s.

Prior to the filming his video on Wednesday and helping save a life, Bon Jovi performed in Nashville on Tuesday night at — where else? — the Jon Bon Jovi Bar. He even stepped behind the bar at one point during the evening and served drinks to patrons .
