    Watch Live: Astronauts stuck in space discuss mission

    NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are live from the International Space Station – where they are stranded – to discuss their mission, which has been extended through February 2025. Wilmore and Williams arrived at the space station on Boeing Starliner on June 6 for what was then an expected eight-day mission. But thruster failures and helium leaks made returning on the Starliner to risky and NASA decided to return Starliner uncrewed on Sept. 6.

    The duo will return in February aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft with two other crew members on NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission.
