    NFL chain gang member receives CPR on sideline at Ravens-Raiders game in scary scene

    The Ravens-Raiders game in Baltimore on Sunday was briefly delayed due to a member of the chain gang suffering a medical emergency.

    According to numerous reports coming out of M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore medical staff were seen administering CPR to an NFL operations crew member on the sidelines.

    The person reportedly collapsed and was taken off the field on a stretcher.

    “A member of the chain gang crew collapsed,” the Ravens said in a statement, referring to the personnel that manages signal poles on the sidelines. “He was immediately attended to by medical personnel. Upon leaving the field, he was alert and responsive. He’s being taken to a local hospital.”

    The incident occurred in the second quarter and players were seen taking a knee on the field.
