I was bullied by my wedding guests — here’s why I uninvited 25 of them just 6 weeks before the ceremony

    Talk about a witch hunt.

A bride-to-be uninvited 25 friends and family from her Halloween wedding after her mother and grandmother branded the October event “satanic.”

The beleaguered bride recently griped in a Reddit forum that this devil had been hiding in the details for a full two years, as the All Hallows’ Eve affair had been announced that long ago, leaving plenty of time for haters to harangue her.

But some souls stirred the pot just six weeks before the ceremony.

‘Scam couple’ dupe wedding guests into shelling out almost $3K each

“All the sudden my mom and grandma decided the wedding was satanic and want me to make last-minute changes,” the woman wrote, adding that her response was “a firm no.”

In retaliation, about half of the mother’s side of the family “thought they would be cute and say they aren’t coming” due to what the bride called a “power struggle.”

I missed my wedding reception over a migraine — the reason was far deadlier

Instead of balking at their ghoulish behavior, the bride became a de facto grim reaper by disinviting the bunch — including a sister serving as a bridesmaid.

She further exorcised her demons by sending out an “uninvited invitation” to those two dozen-plus who had cried boo-hoo.

The bride even made sure the venue would prohibit the skeleton crew from entering the party — one where she planned to don “a light blue corpse bride dress” with hair to match.

“My aunt (who was one of the uninvited) told me people are allowed to disagree with me and that doesn’t mean can pull an invitation from a wedding that they have made plans to attend,” the bride wrote.

“I told my aunt they had two years for complaints but saying you are not going at 6 weeks before my wedding is bulls–t … I will not be bullied by my family over this.”

In the comments, lots of folks said the bride shouldn’t feel haunted by her actions.

“You’ve spent two years planning your wedding, and it’s your special day. It’s understandable to feel frustrated when people try to impose their beliefs last minute,” one said.

“They already said they’re not coming, so why are they complaining now?” added another.

“Have a great time with the guests who aren’t jerks,” a third declared for the monster mash.

Well, it would not be my thing that’s OK. If it is their thing and they want me to join more power to them. If I find it something that I cannot overlook then I have the right to say thank you but I will not be able to attend, but if that’s their thing, let them knock their socks off and have a great time. It’s their wedding!

If it's their thing, then they should have what they want..For their wedding day. People can judge but at the end of the wedding day, if the Bride and Groom are happy with the outcome, then that's really what matters. Can't please everyone, might as well please yourself!!
