Mayor Adams took $10M in illegal donations and bribes: jaw-dropping indictment

U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams laid out the federal indictment against NYC Mayor Eric Adams during a press conference, in which he said “Today we are announcing campaign finance, bribery and conspiracy charges against Eric Adams, the Mayor of New York City.”

The charges include $10 million in illegal campaign contributions and bribes — including free flights and other ritzy perks — from foreign nationals in exchange for favors, according to the bombshell federal indictment.
