The 16-year-old walked in the Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2025 Paris fashion week show on Tuesday and took a moment to gush over the dream come true.
“My name is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban,” the teenager said in a thick southern accent in an Instagram video posted by Vogue on Wednesday. “And this is my first show.”
“We’re at the Miu Miu show in Paris,” Sunday continued. “We did some shopping because how can you not come to Paris and not shop!”
Explaining how this opportunity came about, the young star shared, “I’ve been wanting to do this for so long so when the offer came through it was really exciting and now the day is finally here.”
And when it comes to her No. 1 piece of advice on the big day? As Sunday put it, “Probably just, like, don’t stress yourself out too much.”
Before signing off, she added, “I was really stressed and then everyone here is just really nice.”
Sunday donned a sleeveless white dress with a ribbon-like detail on the neckline. She completed her look with black knee socks and black open-toe pumps. Her long blonde locks were styled in the center and tucked behind her ears and she kept the makeup to a minimum.
The runway roster saw a star-studded lineup, including Willem Dafoe, Alexa Chung, Cara Delevingne and Hilary Swank.
The “Perfect Couple” actress, 57, did not appear to be in attendance at the event, but did make the Balenciaga show the previous evening.
However, Kidman joined Sunday at a Miu Miu dinner party post-runway. The pair posed together, with the “Big Little Lies” alum wearing a knee-length plaid skirt and collared sweater while Sunday changed into her own preppy shirt with black miniskirt and boots.
Kidman celebrated her daughter’s modeling debut by posting a picture to her Instagram Story of Sunday walking the runway.
Two months prior to Sunday’s runway debut, her famous mom, 57, spoke with Victoria Beckham about her daughter.
“She’s about to turn 16,” Kidman told her friend during an interview with Vogue Australia in August. “That’s what I told her, when she was 16 she was allowed to come to a show. She’s wanted to go for a long time.”
So the mother-daughter duo went to their first fashion show together.
Kidman continued, “That was her foray into it, and that was it. I’m like, ‘No, no more.’ It’s a push-pull. I don’t want to hold her back because I don’t want to be coddling her.”
