Francisco Lindor wasn’t going to let anything stop him from celebrating.

The Mets shortstop abruptly ended a postgame interview with ESPN to take a team photo in the moments after a thrilling come-from-behind 3-2 win over the Brewers in their wild-card finale on Wednesday night in Milwaukee.

What does this unexpected Mets postseason run say about their future?

“If you see over there, I’m about to take a team picture — I gotta go,” a breathless Lindor told the studio broadcast team. “I love you guys. Mets nation, we did — I love you guys!”

Facing the abyss again, these Mets showed how the improbable has become probable

He then ripped off his headset and triumphantly ran over to his teammates — hopping and skipping in jubilance — for a photo in their “October Ready” T-shirts.

Lindor has often carried the Mets in the latter half of the season, battling through a back injury to get back into the lineup.

He provided stellar defense in the three-game wild card set, furthering his team MVP credentials, but on Thursday, he ceded the spotlight to teammate Pete Alonso, whose three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning put the Mets on the board — and in the lead, 3-2 — to send the Amazin’s to the NLDS.

Lindor will get a few extra days to rest up before he leads his fellow Mets against the Phillies in a series that begins Saturday in Philadelphia.
