I live in the absolute desert, forgive my ignorance but please explain where the hell does so much water come from?? The storm had massive amounts of rain that flooded rivers..? Lakes..? Which cause overflows, but once they overflow and water moves on don’t levels go back to normal, doesn’t that water flow every which way and get absorbed into the earth for miles and miles? Where is this flow coming from if it’s not raining anymore? Sorry for questions but it’s mindboggling. Or was this just the first day after the storm passed and the water has now receded.?
