There is a concerning development brewing in the Packers’ wide receiver room.

Romeo Doubs skipped practice on Thursday and Friday because he was “upset with his opportunities in the passing game,” Bill Huber, who covers the Packers under the Sports Illustrated domain, reported Friday night .

The report said the team was “worried about Doubs’ well-being” after Thursday’s absence and that representatives from the organization checked on him at his home.

Romeo Doubs-Packers practice drama takes wild suspension twist

It is an odd situation, as Doubs has not been ignored in the offense.

He is third on the Packers with 20 targets, just two behind team leaders Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks.

Wide receiver Christian Watson is expected to miss this week’s game with an ankle injury, so one would figure Doubs was in line to be featured in the Packers’ offense on Sunday against the Rams.

Former NFL star Eddie Lacy arrested for ‘extreme DUI’

However, longtime Packers observer Aaron Nagler speculated that Doubs’ dissatisfaction might have come from this week’s game plan, which got installed in practice on Wednesday.

Doubs has been officially designated as doubtful for Sunday’s game with a personal issue.

“It’s still day-to-day,” Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters on Friday.

The Packers had a bizarre situation last year where they suspended star cornerback Jaire Alexander for a pivotal game after he anointed himself a team captain during the pregame coin toss against the Panthers and almost made a blunder where the opponents would get the ball first in each half.

“The decision to suspend a player is never easy and not one we take lightly,” Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said in a statement at the time. “Unfortunately, Jaire’s actions prior to the game in Carolina led us to take this step. As an organization, we have an expectation that everyone puts the team first.”

Alexander and the team have mended fences, and the cornerback had a pick-six against the Titans in Week 3 this season.

They probably wouldn’t suspend him if they were playing a good team this weekend. The rams suck so they know they can get away with it. Aside from that, Doubs just kinda looks like an idiot, probably because he is.

Holly fkn crap Love. Farve’s been recorded talking about stealing $ from the poor and disadvantaged. The rednecks like Farve do this because they think all the $ goes to Black people. That’s evil shit. He’ll get off because it’s frickin Mississippi. Parkinson’s is no joke, but the millions he stole probably killed a few people. Grow the f up.
