Queen Camilla’s son was told to “f–k off” when he asked for Ozempic.

Tom Parker Bowles, 49, spoke about his desire to obtain Hollywood’s most sought-after weight loss drug , used to treat diabetes, when he realized he was “getting too fat,” and his doctor’s reaction to his request.

Ozempic is not licensed in the UK for weight loss.

“I’m far too old to care about this sort of thing,” Parker Bowles told Vogue in a September interview, “but I went to my doctor the other day, who I love, and I said, ‘Can I have some Ozempic, please?’”

He claimed his doctor blamed his unhealthy habits connected to his occupation for his weight gain.

“He just went, ‘f–k off. You’re a food writer,’” Parker Bowles recalled. “‘All these excess calories are coming from booze.’”

Queen Camilla’s only son is a food writer and critic. He also has seven cookbooks and launched a food brand called Mr. Trotter’s Great British Pork Crackling, which has since expanded to beer with Mr. Trotter’s Chestnut Ale.

Parker Bowles hit back at his doctor’s accusations, claiming he only drinks three times a week; however, the medical professional allegedly told him that the amount of rosé he consumes per week equals around 18 cheeseburgers.

Parker Bowles has discussed his love of food in the past.

“I became a food writer because I was sacked from pretty much any other job I ever did,” he shared in a piece for You Magazine last month. “I could string a sentence together and eat. Twenty-five years on, I’m still here and still loving every moment. God I’m lucky, and I’ll never, ever grow bored of food. Although, as I get older, I crave simplicity more and more.”

He also shared his go-to meal.

“My comfort food is cottage pie with peas, roast chicken or an aggressively spicy noodle soup. Oh, and a McDonald’s cheeseburger, too.”

The 75-year-old monarch was diagnosed with cancer in February 2024 and has been receiving weekly treatment. Buckingham Palace has not specified the type of cancer he has, though he did undergo prostate surgery earlier this year.

He’s not the only royal who suffered health issues this year.

Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton, announced her cancer battle in March. She revealed in September that she is cancer-free after undergoing chemotherapy .

Kate has been slowly stepping back into the public eye since ending her treatment, returning to work for the first time on Sept. 17 and appearing in Southport with her husband on Thursday, Oct. 10, to visit with the families of the young girls who lost their lives in the July knife attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.
