A haunting last photo shows missing Texas mother Suzanne Clark Simpson leaving a ritzy country club just hours before she vanished from home — allegedly following a screaming fight with her property tycoon husband.

Simpson, a 51-year-old real estate agent from Olmos Park, has not been seen or heard from since the fight Sunday night when she returned home from a party at The Argyle, a private dinner club in nearby Alamo Heights.

Olmos Park Police Chief Fidel Villegas on Thursday shared a blurry photo of who police believe to be Simpson leaving the Argyle in dark dress with her worn down over her shoulders, KSAT reported .

“We’re trying every avenue,” Villegas told reporters. “But in the case that somebody has seen her — and she is in distress. That night, we think she was in distress. She may be somewhere, and we just don’t know about it.

“It’s very suspicious, though, that, obviously, she’s not going to work, and she’s not checking in on her children. So that’s an obvious problem.”

“But, at the same time, we don’t want to miss an opportunity to say, ‘Hey, this is what she looks like. Maybe somebody out there knows where she is or she’s hiding away or something.’ That’s why we’re showing you the clothing,” the chief added.

Villegas pleaded with Suzanne to return home to her children if she is still alive.

“These four kids miss their mom, so we’re doing everything we can,” he said.

Simpson’s husband of 22 years, 53-year-old Brad Simpson, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with assault causing bodily injury – family violence and unlawful restraint.

The pair share two children together and Suzanne has two others from a previous relationship, officials said.

Brad Simpson had reported his wife missing on Monday night — however investigators later learned that a neighbor witnessed the pair fighting outside their home after the party the night before.

The neighbor told police that he heard arguing from his window sometime between 10 and 11 p.m. and spotted the Simpsons in a physical fight outside their home, with Brad Simpson “clearly attempting to keep Ms. Simpson from running away,” according to police.

He saw the married couple walk away and went outside with a flashlight to investigate. He told cops he heard “two to three screams” from the woods and ran back inside.

An hour later, Brad left the house in his pickup truck and returned between two and three hours later, the neighbor said.

Villegas said authorities are asking for tips about Brad’s 2019 black GMC Sierra and whether it was seen in a suspicious place on Sunday evening.

Suzanne’s phone has also not been located.

Brad, who is being held in Bexar County jail, has been uncooperative with investigators, the police chief said.

Before his arrest, the investor had fled to his ranch in Bandera County at some point during the week and “appeared to be separating himself from his family,” according to an affidavit.

On Tuesday, police interviewed staff members at a school where one of Suzanne’s children attends.

The child told staff that her parents were “fighting” and that her dad assaulted her mom and took her phone away, the affidavit states.

The child also noted his mother had a bruise on her elbow.

A large party of volunteers and police searched a large area of woods on Wednesday. While Suzanne was not found, investigators found two pieces of evidence, Villegas said, without explaining further.

Suzanne’s brother-in-law, Barton Tinsley Simpson, said the family has been “devastated” by Suzanne’s disappearance.

“We are doing everything we can to fully cooperate with law enforcement, and our first priority is to find her and bring her home,” he posted on Facebook on Thursday .

Relatives are making sure the children are comforted as police continue to search for their mother. He added that the family is “desperately seeking” answers and pleading for anyone with information to come forward.

Brad’s previous bail — which was set in Kendall County at $2 million — will be reset by a Bexar County magistrate judge.
