Molly McGrath could tell she had a shadow while reporting on the LSU-Ole Miss game, but she had no idea that shadow was a 7-foot-1 NBA Hall of Famer.

On Saturday, Shaquille O’Neal attended the overtime thriller that saw his alma mater the No. 13 Tigers win 29-26 over the No. 9 Rebels in Baton Rouge.

While enjoying the game on the sideline, O’Neal decided to have some fun behind McGrath while the reporter was on camera.

At some point during McGrath’s sideline report, O’Neal surprisingly crept into the frame, bending down to fit fully into the shot, and took a bite of food while staring into the camera in a classic photobomb moment.

On Sunday, McGrath responded to the funny bit on X.

“I could feel someone behind me, had no idea it was Shaq,” she wrote along with a laughing crying emoji.

O’Neal was at the game with his son, Myles O’Neal, and was also pictured with LSU football alumni Justin Jefferson and Odell Beckham Jr.

O’Neal was also seen recently with fellow former Tiger, Angel Reese , and he won $100,000 from the Chicago Sky star after she challenged him to a free throw bet.

“$100,000 dollars if you make this shot. Let’s see,” Reese said on her Instagram story on Oct. 2.

O’Neal, who struggled at the foul line during his career, connecting on just 52.7 percent at the line, made the shot.

“I guess I owe him $100k,” Reese wrote over the clip on Instagram with a crying face.
