    Texas pizzeria employees beat up gun-toting would-be thief, 19, in violent brawl: ‘Prison or death’

    Employees at a Texas pizzeria asked an alleged would-be thief if he preferred prison or death as they pummeled the gun-toting teen during a violent brawl after he demanded the restaurant’s cash.

    The armed maniac entered a Marco’s Pizza in Austin around 7 p.m. on Oct. 10 and slipped an employee a note reading, “Don’t say s–t, empty the drawer,” according to an affidavit obtained by Fox 7 .

    The perp — identified as 19-year-old Richard Curtis — showed the employee a gun in his waistband before the worker grabbed Curtis and put him in a chokehold as another called the police.

    The manager grabbed the gun from the teen’s pants and reportedly attempted to shoot the alleged assailant, but when the gun didn’t go off, he used the weapon’s handle to mangle his face, according to the affidavit.

    The manager gave Curtis an ultimatum during the brawl: prison or death.

    The manager then grabbed a knife from the kitchen and gave Curtis an ultimatum: Prison or death, Fox 7 reported.

    Curtis allegedly said “prison” and stopped fighting as he waited for the Austin Police Department to arrive.

    One employee sustained a head injury during the tussle and was treated, the outlet reported.

    Curtis was charged with aggravated robbery.
