Dak Prescott gets over Cowboys blowout with engagement to stunning girlfriend

Dak Prescott had a reason to celebrate during the Cowboys’ bye week after a brutal 47-9 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

The Cowboys quarterback and his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, got engaged with help from their eight-month-old daughter, Margaret Jane Rose Prescott (MJ), as seen in a photo he shared Friday on Instagram.

Prescott, 31, and Ramos, 30, kissed while holding their daughter, who was wearing a onesie with the message: “Hi Mommy, Daddy has a question for you!?”

He captioned it, “4ever with @asrahjane.”

Ramos, who is a certified wine and spirits specialist, showed off her 10 carat emerald cut engagement ring by Jason of Beverly Hills in the photo.

The ring — valued at $1 million — features a center diamond positioned between two tapered baguettes and set onto an 18 karat yellow gold setting.

The engagement came after Prescott secured a $240 million extension this past offseason, tying him to Dallas for the next four years.

“In my business, there are high maintenance clients and then there’s Dak,” Jason Arasheben, CEO Jason of Beverly Hills, said of the design process. “Dak was so easy to work with and was very intentional with every detail of this ring.

“He was involved in every aspect and really wanted this to be a ring she would love. He wanted something classic but with a little flare and that’s exactly what we did.”

Prescott and Ramos were first linked in September 2023, after she attended the Cowboys’ win over the Giants in Week 1 of the 2023 NFL season.

The couple has some time to celebrate their engagement as the Cowboys have a bye in Week 7 before facing the 49ers (3-3) in San Francisco on Oct. 27.

Team owner Jerry Jones said he was “sick” over the loss to Detroit at home, which fell on his 82nd birthday.

The next day, Jones, 82, had a meltdown while discussing the team during his weekly radio appearance on “Shan & RJ” on 105.3 The Fan.

Jones also appeared to threaten the jobs of the show’s three radio hosts who questioned him about the Cowboys’ quiet offseason.

Dallas didn’t make any splashy moves in the offseason, and waited until the last minute to extend Prescott and star wideout CeeDee Lamb.
