Oswald Peraza Is Turning Heads, And He Should Be The Yankees’ Shortstop
There is perhaps no more controversial player on the Yankees than Isiah Kiner-Falefa. Certain people think he is one of the more underrated pickups, while others want him to be replaced. If you continue reading this story, you will quickly find out that I land in that second group. Let me explain why.
Jets getting ready for first Preseason Challenge
The Jets summer training camp is now two weeks old and fans are beginning to wonder how the Gang Green will really be come time to face an actual opponent this upcoming season. Well, fans, you only have to wait until this Friday night when the Jets square off against the Philadelphia Eagles in their first of three preseason games before September. Mind you, these are preseason games and don’t expect fireworks from returning starters or new rookies and trade acquisitions. What head coach Robert Saleh is looking for is progress from last season’s 4-13 record and of course the fight for spots on the final Jets roster will be spotlighted during these preseason games.
Jets Look To Take Advantage of New Depth In Versatile Pass Rush
Getting after the quarterback was always the strength of head coach Robert Saleh in San Francisco and he looks to keep it that way entering year two of his defensive scheme. It starts with DE Carl Lawson, an exciting free 2021 free agency acquisition who saw minimal time on the field last season due to injury.
Red Bulls Collapse Against Rapids, Fall 5-4 in Harrison
The New York Red Bulls’ multiple two goal leads on Saturday night weren’t enough to hold off The Colorado Rapids. The third worst team in the league’s western conference scored five goals against New York. Another second half collapse hands the team another loss, 5-4. Struber has dropped three games in six days including Saturday’s friendly versus FC Barcelona.
This Giants Position Group is Heating Up through the First Week of Training Camp
The Giants are now a week into training camp. Coming into camp, there were a couple of position battles that many were focused on. One position group that wasn’t at the forefront of everyone’s minds was edge rusher. This was likely because Azeez Ojulari and the 5th overall pick in April’s draft, Kayvon Thibodeaux, are entrenched as the starters. That hasn’t changed through the first week of training camp. Behind them is where guys are making plays, and making a push to make themselves a featured part of the Giants 2022 pass rush.
Highway Robbery – Which Jets To Target And Avoid In Your Fantasy Draft
August has arrived, and all your friends are starting to map out their fantasy leagues – flex or no flex, full or half PPR, who gets the last pick at the turn, and what the punishment will be. Many teams are seen as factories for high upside fantasy players...
The Subway Series Has Become Exciting Again
The Subway Series regained its luster in late July of this season after many years of not stirring as much buzz as it used to. The players themselves said it wasn’t really a big deal, and the Mets were not in contention often enough to make the crosstown clashes more compelling.
Jets staying the course with Quarterback depth chart
Well, here we go again! The 2022-23 NFL season is now in full gear with all 32 training camps going full speed into their second week in anticipation of the first preseason games of the year. After a rough and brutal 2021-22 campaign, the Jets are looking at maturity and experience to bolster their QB corps. In a surprise move, the Jets did not draft any young play callers out of this year’s NFL Draft and instead have decided to rely on tested and battle-ready QB’s to lead the Gang Green this season.
Red Bulls & Barcelona Thrill Sold Out Red Bull Arena
Saturday was not a normal game by any means at Red Bull Arena. A sold out crowd was mostly cheering as the visiting team came out on top. But overall, seeing the New York Red Bulls battle La Liga giant FC Barcelona to a 2-0 loss had more positives than one might realize.
Jets Reach Deal With Saints LB Kwon Alexander – Coach Robert Saleh Reunited With Former NFC Champion
The New York Jets have reached a deal with veteran outside linebacker Kwon Alexander on a one-year deal worth $1.12 million with a $152,000 signing bonus. Alexander was a pivotal role in Robert Saleh’s defense with the 49ers that got them to the Superbowl in the 2019 season. After spending the beginning stint of his career in Tampa Bay, Alexander came over to the Bay in 2019. Halfway through the 2020 season, Alexander made his way over to the New Orleans Saints where he finished the season. He played this last season in 2021 with the Saints as well, where he recorded a career-high 3.5 sacks to go along with one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one interception. Alexander played a pivotal role in a Saints defense that singlehandedly kept the Big Easy in the wildcard hunt until the last possible moment.
Through the First 2 Days of Camp, One Giant is Making Us Remember Exactly Who He Is
The Giants are now 2 practices into camp, and there has been a lot to take in. The offense is reportedly using a ton of motion and looking like an actuall offense, Kadarius Toney is making plays, Kayvon Thibodeax is getting to the QB, and the Giants are looking like a real team. Now, it’s 2 days in, so many things can change, but its an encouraging sign none the less. Along with all of these other points, there is one Giant who has made some plays that is making every Giant fan remember exactly who is he.

We are Officially in the Most Exciting Time of the NFL Offseason
The title of this blog says we are now in the most exciting time of the offseason, but that is sort of a lie…because the season is now officially underway. The Giants have all reported to camp and are set to have their first practice tomorrow. I wrote a similar blog last year, and I think I am going to make it an annual blog because there truly is no other time of the year like this one.

His current contract runs through the end of the 2024 season. Any team that gets him will get him for three playoff runs, even if they don’t extend him after 2024.

Wilson or Saleh – Who’s Booted First If Jets Don’t Make Expected Leap?
When games are lost, jobs are lost. That’s what puts the pressure on. And no two jobs in football are as hard to fight for as starting quarterback and head coach. The Jets are a popular pick to jump the bar that’s been set for them – they have a good GM, a culture-building coach, and great young talent all at the same time for the first time in decades. But those are just expectations, and expectations aren’t always met.
The Jimmy G to the Giants Rumors Just Don’t Make Sense
Last Friday, former Giants quarterback and current NFL Network Analyst David Carr stated that he could see the Giants going after Jimmy Garappolo during the preseason. Jimmy Garappolo has had a very solid career, and is a proven winner, but when it comes to the 2022 New York Football Giants, trading for Jimmy G does not make any sense.
