Prime Time is Tommy Cutlets’ Time
With QB Tommy DeVito at the helm, the Giants won their first prime time game since Eli Manning’s Giants beat Dallas way back in 2016. Let that sink in…seven years. The Giants may have two more prime time games this season…both against the Eagles. There’s no fear in this Giants team. The defense is real, and the offense has some momentum.

Brian Daboll Has a Major Decision Pending Going into Week 14
The Giants have won 2 games straight with the phenomenon of Tommy DeVito. It’s almost like a flash from the past when “Linsanity” took over the NBA. Ok, not really, but it has been a fun 2 game run with the Jersey kid. With the Giants on a bye this week, Brian Daboll will have a major decision to make going into next week. While DeVito has become quite the fan favorite, 2nd string QB Tyrod Taylor will be eligible to return off of the IR.
The Question All New York Giants Fans Are Asking
As a New York Giants fan this has been one of the most confusing seasons in years. We just came off of one of our arguably most successful seasons of the last 12 years and had high expectations coming into this season. Now at the bye, the Giants are sitting third in the division at 4-8. A couple of months ago if you asked me where the Giants were at this point in the season I would have said at least 7-5, but to be 4-8 through 12 games after the start the Giants had last year is slightly disappointing. But if you told me that although All-Pro Left Tackle Andrew Thomas and Quarterback Daniel Jones would have been hurt for the majority of the season so far and there’s still a chance we can sneak into the playoffs. I would say that this isn’t the worst the season could have gone.
Get Ready for Giants vs Patriots with their 1987 Meeting
The Giants face the New England Patriots on Sunday at MetLife Stadium. In years past, this was a marquee NFL Matchup. In 2023, many are dubbing this game the Toilet Bowl. Despite the fact that many fans won’t watch this game at all, and many fans will even be rooting against the Giants for draft position purposes, the game will still be played. To get ready for it, let’s take a look back on the Giants and Patriots meeting back in 1987.
Red Bulls Shakeup, Lesesne & Hamlett Let Go
On Tuesday, the New York Red Bulls made its first two huge announcements of the 2023/24 off-season. Firstly, sporting director Denis Hamlett “mutually parted ways” after eight seasons with the team. A few minutes prior, RBNY announced it had not renewed the contract of head coach Troy Lesesne. With these two decisions, head of sport Jochen Schneider has made it clear the team is heading in a completely new direction.
Seven Giants Games Left–Time for Some Bill Parcells Wisdom
Two-time Giants Super Bowl winning Head Coach, Bill Parcells once said, “You are what your record is.”. The Giants are 2-9 and reeling. Current Head Coach Brian Daboll could reach back for some Parcells wisdom right now. Daboll was uncharacteristically real in his evaluation of the Giants’ season after the Dallas game. He used the word “pride” several times in his Monday press conference…pride in preparation, pride in competing, pride in the effort of the players. Daboll was frank as usual about everyone needing to do a better job, coaches and players, and making no excuses for where the team is at. “We have control over our actions, our attitude and our emotions.”
RJ Barret Off to Hot Start – Leading the Way for Knicks Early
The New York Knicks are off to a 5-4 start this season, as they’ve won three straight this past week to bring their record above .500. A few players have got off to great starts this year, but one in particular has stepped up so far to lead the way for New York; RJ Barret. The fifth year guard is off to the best start of his career in a year that has the feeling of one where he must step up. Let’s take a look at what Barret has been able to accomplish so far in the young season, how positive it’s been for the Knicks, and which aspects in particular has Barret been able to step up his game in.
Get Ready for Giants vs Cowboys with the Giants 1974 Upset Victory
It appears as though the Giants have hit rock bottom in 2023. The good news is it is hard to get lower. The Giants will be playing some sort of combo of Tommy DeVito, Matt Barkley, and Jacob Easen for the remainder of the season. Fans will not expect much, and many will be rooting for the Giants to lose. Whether you want to tank or not, the fact is we control nothing. So as fans, let’s just sit back and hope the guys in Blue play some good ball and we find players that will be here for the long haul. To get ready for this weeks matchup with the Cowboys, let’s take a look back at the Giants upset back in 1974.
Xavier McKinney May be Digging a Hole He Can’t Get Out Of
After an ugly loss to the Raiders, Giants Safety and Captain, Xavier McKinney had some choice words for the Giants Coaching Staff. McKinney stated, “I think that from a leadership standpoint, I don’t think they’ve done a great job of letting the leaders lead, and listening to the leaders and the captains, but obviously it sucks losing. It was one of those things where you have some of your leaders, captains from a defensive standpoint, trying to switch things up, and just not really being heard. I don’t know. There are other things too that we could’ve done. The execution stuff could’ve been better. But when you got guys out there that are playing and seeing different things and are being vocal and communicating that with the coaches and whoever and are not being heard, it’s hard to go out there and be able to make plays and do things of that nature.”
With Jones out, is it Barkley to Barkley Time?
QB Daniel Jones is out for the season with a torn ACL. Tommy DeVito stepped in and as HC Brian Daboll said, “Tommy played well at times.” With backup QB Tyrod Taylor on the injured list for the rest of November with injured ribs, the Giants signed QB Matt Barkley to the practice squad last week, then elevated him to the 53-man roster this week to replace Jones. Is it Matt Barkley’s time?
RECAP: Red Bulls End Season With PK Loss to Cincinnati
The New York Red Bulls’ season ended in heartbreaking fashion on Saturday night. A ten round penalty kick shootout saw RBNY fall, 8-7, after playing to a 1-1 draw against FC Cincinnati. New York had multiple chances to force a third game against the Supporters’ Shield winners. Instead Cincy moves on to the Eastern Conference semifinals to play either New England or Philadelphia.
Knicks off to Rocky 2-4 Start – Randle Under Heavy Scrutiny
The Knicks are six games into their 2023-2024 campaign, and they currently sit two games below .500 with a 2-4 record. New York has been in some close contests so far but has failed to close out games in certain situations, leading to their less than ideal start. Let’s take a look at where things stand for the Knicks right now; What looks good, what has to improve, and what’s coming up next.
