    Pools in Licking County reopening this weekend or next. Here are details on hours and fees

    With temperatures heating up and summer just around the corner, Licking County residents are gearing up for the much-anticipated reopening of local swimming pools.

    As the county’s pools prepare to welcome back swimmers this weekend or next, families and individuals alike can look forward to a refreshing escape from the heat.

    Here’s an overview of pool opening dates, hours, and admission costs for the upcoming season:

    Heath City Pool

    Opening day: June 1st Address: 1287 Hebron Road, Heath Hours: Noon-7 p.m. daily Memberships : Resident Rates: • Household: $360.00 • Individual (Age 10 thru 59): $172.50 • Individual (Age 9 & under): $116.25 • Senior Citizen (Age 60+): $116.25 Nonresident Rates: • Household: $420.00 • Individual (Age 10 thru 59): $202.50 • Individual (Age 9 & under): $138.75 • Senior Citizen (Age 60+): $138.75 Daily Walk-in Rates Noon– 5pm: • 52 inches & taller: $15.00 • Senior Citizen (age 60+): $10.00 • Children up to 52 inches tall: $10.00 • Children under age 1: $2.00 After 5pm: • 52 inches & taller: $5.00 • Senior Citizen (age 60+): $4.00 • Children up to 52 inches tall: $4.00 • Children under age 1: $1.00

    Newark YMCA Outdoor Pool

    Opening Day: June 1 Address: 470 W Church St., Newark Hours: Monday - Friday, Noon-7 p.m.*

    *The outdoor pool hours are subject to change based on the daily weather. If the outdoor temperature is not 70 degrees or higher by 11 a.m., the pool will NOT open that day. Updates can be found on Facebook or by calling the front desk at 740-345-9622. Rates : • Community Days, Mondays-Thursdays and Saturdays • $10/person for a day pass, under 2 years old is free • Fridays and Sundays are for MEMBERS ONLY

    Pataskala City Pool

    Opening day: May 25 Address: 550 Township Road, Pataskala Hours: Noon-7 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays; noon-6 p.m. Sundays Daily Rates: • Daily Rate 12+ - $8 • Children 5-12 - $5 • Children 4 & Younger - Free • First Responders- $5 • Veterans- $5 Membership: • Family Membership (5 members only; each additional member adds $10) - $150 • Family Plus Membership (1 unnamed guest pass per visit) - $185 • Youth Membership (12 & Under) - $60 • Single Adult Membership - $90 • Senior Membership (65+) - $67.50 • Service Personnel Individual Membership (Fire, EMS, Police) - $67.50 • Service Personnel Family Membership (Fire, EMS, Police) - $112.50 • Service Personnel Family Plus Membership (Fire, EMS, Police) - $147.50

    Hollander Pool

    Due to a decision by the city of Newark, the Hollander pool will be closed for the duration of this summer. To accommodate residents, the YMCA outdoor pool will be available on Mondays through Thursdays and Sundays.

    Beechwood Trails Pool - Pataskala

    Opening day: May 25 Address: 248 Needles Drive Southwest, Pataskala Hours : Dawn to Dusk Membership: As a nonprofit organization, Beechwood Trails Park & Pool relies on the support of volunteers and membership sales. • Family Membership - $250 • Grandparent Membership - $225 • Single Membership - $130 • Family of Two - $200 • Senior Membership - $75 • Senior Membership (Couple) - $150

    Trout Club Pool

    Lake Hudson - Granville

    Opening day: June 1 Address: Old River Road, Granville Hours: Monday - Friday, noon-7 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 1-7 p.m. Daily Rates: • Children under 2 years old - Free • Children 2-8 years old - $8 • 9 years old and up - $12 Membership: • Children ages 2 – 11 & Seniors 65 and older : $150 • 12 - 18 years old - $180 • 19 to Senior - $160 • Family membership (5 people maximum & living in the same household) - $330
