    Granville seeking member for arts commission

    The Granville Arts Commission is seeking a community resident who is interested in serving as a representative for Granville Township.

    The arts commission is a community-based organization dedicated to the enhancement of cultural arts, community character, and interaction for the V\village of Granville and all its residents.

    The goal of the commission is to enrich the Granville community through community-based events, activities, and programs. Funds will be made available to those organizations that coordinate these types of activities.

    The commission meets the third Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Granville Center for the Arts, located at 119 W. Broadway.

    The Commission is comprised of nine members appointed from the following organizations:

    • Granville Village Council
    • Granville Township Trustees
    • Granville Area Chamber of Commerce
    • Granville Historical Society
    • Bryn Du Commission
    • Granville Recreation District
    • Granville Community Foundation
    • One Denison University representative
    • One volunteer member from the community

    If you are interested in serving, please send a letter of interest, your resume and application to Autumn Klein, Clerk of Council, PO Box 514, Granville OH or drop off at the Village Office at 141 East Broadway. Applications are due by Sept. 13.
