Defenseman Daniil Misyul and forward Justin Dowling were recalled from the Utica Comets (American Hockey League). Dowling has appeared in 98 career NHL games, suiting up for the Dallas Stars and Vancouver Canucks. His last game was on Feb. 9, 2022, as a member of the Canucks against the New York Islanders. This season, he has 19 points ( <a href="https://theahl.com/stats/player/4053" rel="nofollow"> eight goals, 11 assists </a> ) in 30 games with the Comets. <nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate> Misyul was selected by New Jersey 70th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-3 defenseman is in the middle of his <a href="https://twitter.com/NJDevils/status/1654186663768195072" rel="nofollow"> first season </a> with the Comets after spending the past two seasons playing for the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the KHL. This is his first NHL call-up. Nolan Foote, Dougie Hamilton, Jack Hughes, Tomas Nosek, Jonas Siegenthaler, and Brendan Smith are all dealing with injuries.
