Now, 12 years later, Henrique is back in the Final and again making an impact with the Edmonton Oilers.
After falling behind 3-0 to the Panthers, Henrique and the Oilers have climbed back into the series, winning the last three games. The former Devils center has been credited with two game-winning goals in Game 4 and Game 6.
According to NHL PR, "Adam Henrique is the first player in Stanley Cup Final history with three-plus career game-winning goals in potential elimination games.
Through 16 playoff games this season, Henrique has seven points (four goals, three assists) and continues to prove how clutch he can be.
The 34-year-old will be an unrestricted free agent this summer. Whether he adds the Stanley Cup to his resume on June 24 remains to be seen, but his resume shows he is a clutch playoff performer and will be sought after by any team with Cup aspirations in 2024-25.
