    Devils Bring Back Former Defenseman Colton White

    NEWARK, N.J. -- On Monday evening, the New Jersey Devils announced another reunion.

    In addition to bringing back Stefan Noesen , general manager Tom Fitzgerald and assistant general manager/Utica Comets general manager Dan MacKinnon announced they signed defenseman Colton White to a two-year, two-way contract.

    Per the press release , the details of the contract are as follows: 2024-25: $775,000 at the NHL level and $250,000 at the American Hockey League (AHL) level ($300,000 guaranteed); 2025-26: $775,000 NHL/$275,000 AHL ($325,000 guaranteed).

    White was selected by New Jersey 97th overall in the 2015 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut in March of 2019 against the Edmonton Oilers. Over four seasons, he appeared in 38 games for New Jersey, averaging 13 minutes of ice time.

    The London, Ontario, native left the Devils as an unrestricted free agent in 2022 and spent the last two seasons in the Anaheim Ducks organization. He spent the 2023-24 season with their AHL affiliate, the San Diego Gulls, where he was utilized as one of the team's top penalty killers.

    Over his professional career, White has appeared in 84 NHL games and 254 games in (AHL).
