The X (formerly known as Twitter) account JFresh recently revealed a poll in which the New Jersey Devils were deemed the sixth-most-liked team in the league and the second-most-liked team in the Eastern Conference behind the Buffalo Sabres.

JFresh is a hockey analytics page with over 100,000 followers on X. Below the results, the account holder confirmed, "The only prompt was 'Which team would you root for in a head-to-head matchup.' It would show you two teams and ask you to pick one."

The Devils won 59% of their matchups, with each team being voted upon 2,170 times.

New Jersey boasts a young core with Nico Hischier , Jesper Bratt, and Jack Hughes at the helm. When playing at their best, the Devils are a fun offensive team to watch, with an impressive supporting cast that includes Timo Meier and Dougie Hamilton.

The club enters the 2024-25 season with high expectations after a successful offseason that includes acquiring goaltender Jacob Markstrom, signing defensemen Brett Pesce and Brenden Dillon, and, of course, hiring Sheldon Keefe as the team's new head coach.

The top 10 were as follows: Colorado Avalanche (67.9%), Sabres (61.4%), San Jose Sharks (61%), Dallas Stars (60.2%), Vancouver Canucks (59.3%), Devils (59%), Nashville Predators (58.4%), Utah Hockey Club (58.3%), Edmonton Oilers (55.8%), and the Winnipeg Jets (55.7%).
