Judith (Judi) Ann Newton

July 18, 1947 – June 5, 2024

Judith (Judi) Ann Newton was born July 18, 1947, to Joe & Fran Yackey. She made lifelong friends in Newberg, including her husband, Mike Newton. She was very proud of their accomplishment of celebrating 60 years of marriage in April. They raised three rambunctious sons which kept them busy much of their younger years.

In 1979 Mike & Judi moved to Redmond, Oregon and spent several years there. They returned to Newberg in 1983 and eventually settled in Sherwood upon becoming empty-nesters. Judi spent much of her time investing in her 6 grandkids. She could be spotted at every program, play, concert or sporting event they were involved in. She was a second grandma to many and was referred to as Grandma Judi by many more than her own.

On June 5, Judi decided to start her next adventure in heaven. She leaves behind family and friends who love her 'most' and who will continue to be influenced by her unconditional love, humor, and kindness. Among them are her husband Mike, their children Troy and his wife Mary, Shawn and Michael and his wife Kelly; their grandchildren Jeremy and his wife Heather, Brittney and her husband RJ, Alyssa, Eva, Cooper and Cole; and great grandchildren Halle, Logan and Sage. Judi also leaves behind her siblings David Yackey and his wife Eileen of Tigard and Joelle Cutler and her husband Michael of Salem.
