HENDERSON, Ky – (WEHT) – A type of intersection, called a displaced left turn, is currently being built in Warrick County and the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) wants to make sure drivers know how to navigate through it safely.

The intersection at State Road 66 and Epworth road is currently being reconstructed to install a displaced left turn, and more are on the way in Evansville along the Lloyd Expressway.

On Tuesday July 23rd, INDOT will host a class providing materials, educational videos, and even allow people to walk through a simulation. The class will be from 5-7 pm at Evansville Christian School in Newburgh.

The new intersection at Epworth and S.R. 66 will be the first of four displaced left turn intersections coming to the expressway.
