An upper-level disturbance moving through ahead of the front will give us a chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms this morning followed by the chance for more showers and thunderstorms this afternoon as the cold front moves through. Rain could be heavy at times with any showers and thunderstorms that develop. Temperatures today will be in the upper 60s to mid-70s for highs... coolest along the coast due to the onshore breeze. Lingering showers and thunderstorms will move out early tonight as the front moves to our east. Winds will shift out of the west/northwest tonight behind the front and usher less humid air into the region as the night wears on. Skies will clear out tonight too. Lows will drop to the mid-50s to low 60s.
