Hot weather is forecast across southeast Wyoming over the next few days, with hazy, smoky weather also predicted for Tuesday and possibly Wednesday. That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website: ''Like the heat? Well you’re in luck! Hot temperatures will return to the region by mid-week, with parts of our forecast area returning to the 100s by Wednesday. Looking at mostly benign weather during this time. RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - The Rapid City man accused of killing Edleigha Little back, 40, in November of last year had another appearance in court Monday. Pedro Simental, 44, is charged with one count of first-degree manslaughter. He is accused of hitting Little with a can of beans, causing trauma to her head which resulted in her death on November 10.

RCYB drops both Little League championship games to Sioux Falls
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - The Sioux Falls All-Stars Little League team is advancing to the Midwest Regional after sweeping Rapid City Youth Baseball. Rapid City fell in Game 1 8-2 and in Game 2, 16-2. After defeating Canyon Lake in the semifinals on Saturday, Sioux Falls had to win two games Sunday against Rapid City given the double elimination rules.
