Santa Fe looks to open more Pallet shelters for unhoused individuals
SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Santa Fe wants to create new “Safe Outdoor Spaces” that will provide shelter and amenities for unhoused individuals. The city is currently looking for privately owned properties to host 64-square-foot shelters, which come from the manufacturer Pallet. “So we’re looking for community partners, non-profits, who might have some land available that are interested in providing shelter opportunities in the community,” said Kristen Woods, program manager with the City of Santa Fe Youth and Family Services Division under the Community Services Department.
