On Thursday morning at around 10, Norfolk Police responded to the 1300 block of Impala Drive for a report of an assault. According to Capt. Iowa weather: Cooler days ahead in Des Moines forecast
DES MOINES, Iowa — Afterthe very strong storms yesterday, we are cooling and calming down. After surveying the damage, the National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado touched down in the Des Moines metro. It formed in Urbandale and traveled about seven miles before lifting near Des Moines Water Works. Wind speeds were estimated at 105 mph.
