Ira Allen biography coming soon: Let’s hear from its author, Kevin Graffagnino
A new biography on early Vermont trailblazer Ira Allen is slated for release on Sept. 13. It is the first published book on Allen to come out in nearly a century. While Allen might be most well-known for his influence in landing the University of Vermont in Burlington, he also at one point in time, owned virtually all of Colchester. On paper, he was also Colchester’s first-ever town clerk.
