RECALL: Bacteria Risk For Dog And Cat Food Distributed In Idaho
A voluntary recall has been issued by a North Carolina company that manufactures raw pet food. The product is currently distributed to all 50 states. Viva Raw LLC has voluntarily recalled select packages of its dog and cat raw turkey food as a precaution against potential listeria contamination, according to information published by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. Viva Raw entered into the pet food business in 2020 and uses organic natural supplements and USDA-inspected meats, according to the company's website.
