The Stony Brook University faculty senate will not be moving forward with a motion to censure the school’s president.

The vote was 55 to 51.

The vote stems from how Maurie McInnis handled pro-Palestinian protests earlier this month that resulted in 29 arrests.

    McInnis has defended her actions.

As News 12 has reported, the senate also voted to demand the university drop charges for those arrested during the protests.

Not only should they be arrested, but pay for wasting Suffolk County and State resources with their useless protests!
