People in Rockland County shared video with News 12 of the storm on Wednesday and the damage it caused. One video from Maple Avenue in Haverstraw shows heavy winds, rain, a bright flash of lightning and a thunderous boom. Another video from near Gurnee Avenue in Haverstraw shows a tree that fell, damaging a fence, some patio furniture, and other landscaping. Another video from near that same area showed a large tree blocking a side street.
