A New City home recently purchased by non-profit organization "Bridges" is being transformed with a universal design concept to enhance the quality of life for individuals with different abilities. The renovation includes wider doorways, no-step entries, added lever door handles, and more. The goal is to complete the project within a year, after which "Bridges" plans to showcase the home before selling it to fund the renovation of another property with universal design.
